Palm Lake Care Caloundra reimagines aged care through a more residential and hospitality-led approach. Studio Collective designed the interiors to feel warm, welcoming and familiar, moving away from traditional clinical cues while responding to the practical needs of residents, families and staff.

Across private suites, lounge and dining spaces, café, bar, theatre and shared activity areas, layered materials, considered furniture and thoughtful detailing create a cohesive environment centred around comfort, dignity and connection.

The project was recognised at the 2023 Master Builders Queensland Sunshine Coast Awards, winning the category for Community Accommodation for Specialist Disability, Aged Care and Nursing Homes.
