How are your fees structured?
Every project is different, so our fees are tailored to the scope, scale and level of involvement required. Once we understand your project, we’ll prepare a detailed proposal outlining our recommended scope, design fees and the next steps.
Where does Studio Collective operate?
Studio Collective is based in Brisbane and works on projects throughout Queensland and interstate. Our team regularly travels for projects and we welcome enquiries from clients, architects and developers across Australia.
At what stage should I engage an interior designer?
Ideally, as early as possible. Engaging our team during the initial planning or architectural stages allows us to collaborate with your architect, builder and consultants from the outset and ensure the interior is considered as part of the overall design. That said, we can also join a project at later stages depending on the scope and what has already been completed.
What services does Studio Collective offer?
Studio Collective is a full-service interior design studio, offering interior design, documentation, finishes and fixtures selection, furniture and styling, procurement and installation. We tailor our scope to suit each project, from complete residential interiors through to large-scale commercial, hospitality, retirement living and multi-residential projects.
What types of projects do you work on?
We work across a diverse range of residential and commercial projects, including private residences, multi-residential developments, hospitality venues, retirement and lifestyle communities, aged care, workplaces and display homes.
Do you work with architects and builders?
Yes. Collaboration is an important part of our process and we regularly work alongside architects, builders, developers, project managers and other consultants. We can join an existing project team or assist in bringing together the right consultants for your project where required.
Can you help with furniture as well as the interior design?
Yes. Furniture, artwork, accessories and styling can form part of our full interior design service. Our team can manage the entire process from selection and specification through to procurement, delivery, installation and final styling.
Can I engage Studio Collective just for furniture and styling?
We offer furniture and styling as a considered, end-to-end service rather than individual furniture selections. Depending on the project, minimum furniture spends and design fees may apply. Get in touch with our team and we can advise whether our service is the right fit for your project.
Do you offer procurement?
Yes. Our procurement team can manage the purchasing, ordering, tracking, delivery and installation of furniture, lighting, artwork and accessories specified for your project. This allows us to oversee the process through to completion and ensure the finished space reflects the original design intent.
Do you provide custom furniture and joinery design?
Yes. Where appropriate, our designers can develop custom furniture, joinery and bespoke design elements specifically for your project.
Do you have a minimum project size or budget?
We specialise in comprehensive interior design projects where we can add value across the overall design and delivery. As a result, minimum project values or furniture spends may apply depending on the service required. If you're unsure whether your project is the right fit, we'd still love to hear from you.
How long does the interior design process take?
Timelines vary depending on the size, complexity and stage of the project. A private residence may have a very different program to a large commercial or multi-residential development. At the beginning of each project, we'll establish a clear scope and program aligned with your broader construction or development timeline.
Can you work within an existing project budget?
Yes. Understanding the commercial parameters of a project is an important part of our process. We work with our clients to establish priorities and make considered design decisions with the overall project budget in mind.
Do you work with property developers?
Yes. We have extensive experience working with developers across multi-residential, retirement living, lifestyle communities and other property sectors. Our team can assist with everything from interior design and documentation through to display suites, furniture packages, procurement and installation.
Do you offer furniture packages for apartment or residential developments?
Yes. We can create curated furniture packages for purchasers within selected developments, providing buyers with a simple way to furnish their new home with a professionally designed, move-in-ready package. We work with the developer to develop packages suited to the interiors, floorplans and target market, and can manage the process directly with purchasers through to delivery and installation.
